Hello People ^_^

Thought the journal needed an update (mainly 'cause seeing 'WILLIAM BLAKE IS THE SEX' every time I opened my DA page was starting to creep me out...)

ANYWAY, snitched this thing from Xanthe (phoenixsparrow...one day I'll learn to make proper linkey things! I swear!), thought it may help spread the Post Christmas Happy, particularly now the exams are descending n whatnot.

REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL :
1) ONLY ONE EXAM LEFT!
2) We still have half a kilo bar of Dairy Milk sitting on our kitchen table. AND ITS MINE.
3) Just read Heaven's Net is Wide by Lian Hearn; AMAZING!!!
4) HNIW has got me writing again, properly. First time in ages!
5) Did a drawing of a scene from my book today; actually looks realistic (though it's got about a billion fir trees in it that I had to draw individually *hand dies*)
6) Shounen Jump arrived today!!! *fangirls*
7) I get to soak cadets in fake blood in CCF! Inner sadist is very pleased.
8) GOT A FLYING SCHOLARSHIP!!!!
9) ^ AND GONNA EARN HALF A PRIVATE PILOT'S LICENCE BECAUSE OF IT!!
10) No babysitting tonight cause they cancelled...but are still paying me in compensation! Getting 20 quid for eating Dominos Pizza and watching telly hehe
11) Kicked the crap out of thin air in Kung Fu today. ^_^
12) I have more than 30 eyelashes on each eyelid. YAY
13) I got a new squishy for chrismas! Y'know those really soft beanie cushion things? s'awesome

Yes, recognising one's own flaws is important, but because so many of us are whiny artistic teenagers we do a hell of a lot of recognising of our flaws and it's time for a little POSITIVITY amid all the self-deprecation. Okay? Okay.

1) I like the way I draw landscapes, especially mountains.
2) I can write really really fast, helps loads in essay-ish exams
3) I can write and draw legibly with my left hand!! (wow I AM sad...!)
4) I have thus far managed not to thump people for leaving litter and pole dancing ads in my sixth form pidgeon hole. Patience is good. *seethes*
